Reverse Karaoke: LaDida Turns Bad Singing Into A Good Song

Khush is a tech company developing music applications using artificial intelligence. We came across their most recent creation, LaDiDa, which is described as a “reverse karaoke” iPhone app that democratizes music making. Its creators, Parag Chordia and Prerna Gupta, created this program to enable virtually anyone to make songs on the spot.

You start by singing something and then the app responds by correcting the pitch and then assembling instrumentation and beats around one’s voice. The app also enables the user to switch through a variety of styles, after which the track can be shared with others through social platforms.

LaDiDa is available in the iTunes store for $3.
