With Netflix Streaming, iPad Becomes TV Anywhere

Movie rental service Netflix has a new app that will make the Apple 3G iPad a device to watch movie and TV content anywhere and anytime you want it. TV entertainment consumers have been gradually moving away from on-now TV to on-demand TV with the help of Cable provider VOD and also Tivo services. While a streaming service has been available to web users for a while now, the application combined with the portability and Apple’s interface design does seem to make the iPad a portable TV like device for an audience that wants the content when they want it, how they want it.
