DIY Paper Tube Furniture For Kids

The HECMEC line of kids furniture consists of folding chairs and tables made of eco-friendly materials with paper tubing connectors. The adjustable connectors can be colored on or used for pasting stickers to customize the chair and table to suit a theme in class or at home. The chairs are also designed to fold up for easy storage and prevent any finger injuries. The colored components of tables and chairs are made from a plant-based resin which can be recycled along with the paper tubing. HECMEC says by using recyclable products, it lowers carbon emissions by 40%.

The furniture range was recently displayed at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2010.
