
J Crew’s Shirt Of The Month Club
We’re not too sure how long the US retailer has been running this service but it’s interesting to see how ideas pioneered by sites like T-Post.se are seeping into mainstream retail.
Like the swedish T-Post service, which has been sending thousands of subscribers each month teeshirts with illustrations based loosely on news stories, J Crew’s service will send subscribers a monthly “handpicked” shirts. Members will be able to return shirts for a better size but not exchange them.
The Shirt Of The Month Club from J Crew (NYSE:JCG) begins in June and costs $695 to subscribe. Right now, sign up is by telephone.
