Hand Washing Station Prevents Excess Use Of Water
Industrial designer Christian Sugiharto has designed a hand-washing station called “Misting” that uses an exact, pre-measured amount of water per hand wash, thus eliminating potential water waste. The Misting station has a pressurized air and water sprayer which mists the hands, and after the user applies soap, the sprayer rinses it off with air and water followed by pressurized air to dry the hands.
Sugiharto says that the concept behind these Misting stations could work for showers and sinks too.
