Lego Store Opens In New York City

Swiss-Miss turned our attention to the fact that NYC now has a flagship LEGO store to call its own at Rockefeller Center. While the store is now officially open for business, the Grand Opening will take place from June 29th through July 1st. Inaugural celebrations include an invitation to help a team of LEGO Master Model Builders build a giant, 15-foot apple, entirely out of LEGO bricks, at the store. In addition, the first 500 customers to spend $35 at the store on Tuesday and Wednesday will receive an exclusive, limited-edition LEGO I love New York t-shirt (don’t get too excited yet – shirts are available in child’s sizes only).
Welcome to New York, LEGO – we’re thrilled to have a dedicated store to celebrate the classic, yet still highly relevant childhood-cum-adulthood toy – and now creative tool.
The LEGO store will be located at Rockefeller Center:
620 Fifth Avenue
New York, NY 10020
