SHOWHOW, part of the recent London Design Festival, exemplifies the Danish Design Centre’s best of breed products that offer sustainable solutions.

When thinking about production and sustainability, the carbon footprint of beer doesn’t necessarily come to mind; however, Novozymes has created an innovative product that allows for beer to produced with just its raw materials:

Ondea Pro is a Novozymes enzymes blend that enables brewers to create a beer using barley as the only raw material. This process works in synergy with the enzyme naturally occurring in the barley during the brewing process. That not only produces a great tasting beer but results in a CO2 reduction of 8% compared with standard production methods.
