Foursquare User ‘Checks’ Into Space

Last week, NASA astronaut Douglas Wheelock created history by ‘checking’ into space on Foursquare. Wheelock unlocked the “NASA Explorer” badge while traveling 220 miles above the Earth on board the International Space Station, thus becoming the first man to utilize the location-based social network in space.
