LinkedIn Introduces Career Mapping Tool For College Students
LinkedIn has teamed up with PricewaterhouseCoopers to launch a career mapping tool for college students. Career Explorer will provide unique, data-driven insights and map out potential career paths for students based on aggregate paths that LinkedIn’s members have already taken before them, which will help students to build their own careers. Career Explorer will also offer helpful resources such as suitable job openings, the kind of education and experience required in various fields and relevant salary information, besides helping students build a professional network.
Presently, the new service is free and available at around 60 universities in the US, with plans to expand it in the future.
