Mio I-zawa Umbilical Cord iPhone Charger
At PSFK CONFERENCE LONDON, Katrin Baumgarten spoke about re-humanizing electronics by introducing an element of disgust. The hacked gadgets in her project squirmed when held – or had goosebumps. This sense of repulsion can be seen in recent work by the artist Mio I-zawa. The Japanese creative has created a twitching umbilical cord that feeds iPhones with power. Watch the video below:
