Reality Jockey Creates Augmented Sound App Based On ‘Inception’ Score
Sometime back, PSFK wrote about the RjDj app and how it remixes music in real time using ambient sounds from the environment. And now, Reality Jockey, the company behind this iPhone app, is working with Christopher Nolan to create an “augmented sound project” based on the soundtrack of Inception. While not much is known about the application right now, Wired reports that it will be designed to compose music through different dreams aka filters based on the user’s location, time and activity. They explain:
The software will squeeze the music through different “dreams” (filters) depending on the location, time, date and activity of the user. “There are dreams that are only played once a month on full-moon nights, or when the weather is bad, or when someone is traveling at more than 120mph…”
