Sonic Bed_Marfa: Immersive Audio Furniture

Issue Project Room, an arts and performance space in New York City, is hosting a unique piece of sound making furniture / sculpture called Sonic Bed_Marfa. Designed by artist Kaffe Matthews, the bed has speakers embedded all around it which play different programs of music, engulfing the user in soothing sounds that they can literally feel rather than just hear.

Issue Project Room will feature works from different composers for Sonic Bed_Marfa through Spring of 2011.
