(Video) Thomas Thwaites: PSFK CONFERENCE 2010 LONDON

By Dan Gould on November 4, 2010

At our recent PSFK CONFERENCE LONDON 2010 we gathered the people behind some of the most inspiring British and European projects that we have covered on PSFK.com.

In this video, Thomas Thwaites explores his Toaster Project, an ambitious undertaking where he set out to build a functioning electric toaster from scratch. Thwaites talks about the challenges he faced in trying to source materials such as iron and plastic on such a small scale, and highlights just how removed we are from the process and origins of our possessions.
